Calling hours held for Paul Heltzel

WARRREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Calling hours for Trumbull County Commissioner Paul Heltzel were held Sunday afternoon.

Heltzel passed away after a long battle with cancer.

He was first elected to office 10 years ago and was re-elected in 2008 and 2012.

People in the community have said his death is very difficult, especially since Heltzel played such an instrumental role in Trumbull County leadership.

Commissioner Frank Fuda said Heltzel wasn’t only a colleague, but also a friend and will be greatly missed.
