Fest helps support the community

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A music festival in Warren was used to help families across Trumbull County.

The event is called Kylyfest, and this is the first year it was held.

The goal is to invite people from the area to come out and enjoy free music in a safe environment. The group is also trying to help families in need through the festival and a back to school drive.

Organizer Ky’Lyntae Mostella said they expect this event to grow in the coming years.

“The goal is to have fun and bring awareness to the Warren City Back to School Drive. Just to have positive fun,” said Mostella.

The live music will continue at the Warren Amphitheatre until 11 p.m. with the main acts going on stage at 7 p.m.
