Vandals destroy girl’s lemonade stand

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A young entrepreneur in Warren is looking to raise money despite a setback.

Five year old Mackenzie Terry was selling lemonade and cookies Monday morning in front of her Belmont Street N.W. home after her family said vandals destroyed her cardboard lemonade stand.

They said the stand was demolished sometime in the overnight hours.

Mackenzie is trying to raise money for school clothes and supplies.

“This year she has uniforms, not regular clothes because she is going to STEAM. She went to Willard last year and now she is changing schools,” said Mackenzie’s mother Alisha Scott.

The alleged vandals did not destroy Mackenzie’s entrepreneurial spirit though, as she set up a table and chair.

If you are looking for a snack, a cup of lemonade or a cookie costs 50 cents.
