Warren FOP hosts Fun Day

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — Food, fun and the FOP: Those three things came together Thursday for kids at Trumbull County Children Services in Warren.

The event was hosted by the Fraternal Order of Police from Warren city and township departments. It included picnic food, games and prizes for kids at the Reeves Road facility.

In addition to the food and games, organizers said the day is also a chance for kids to see authority figures in a different light.

“I think, definitely this experience helps them have a more positive interaction and more positive view of law enforcement,” said Education and Adventure Therapy Coordinator Katy Cottrell.

The Warren Township Fire Department also took part in the event.
