Log cabin in Warren gets facelift

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren’s historic Log cabin in downtown got a makeover thanks to the donation of a local business.

Sherwin Williams donated $500 in paint to help give the cabin a fresh look. Mayor Doug Franklin along with a representative from Sherwin Williams were on hand Friday to see first-hand what painters did to the exterior.

Franklin said donations, no matter how big or small, are key to keeping the city looking good.

“It is one of the cornerstones of the Courthouse Square and all of our properties. It is very important to us to make this thing shine and make it attractive to all of our citizens and guests who come to our city,” Franklin said.

The city of Warren also saved money by using city employees to paint the Log Cabin.
