Neighborhood leaders to discuss issues at meeting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Taxpayers will hold city leaders accountable on the continuing blight issue around Youngstown during a meeting set for Monday evening.

This is a follow-up meeting on the issue.

One of the main concerns the Youngstown Neighborhood Leadership Council has is what they are calling a lack of code enforcement. The group says that’s leading to even more blight and issues around the city.

Monday the group will ask leaders more about how they are fighting blight and what citizens can expect from the city moving forward.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the basement of the main Youngstown Library on Wick Avenue.
