Mahoning Co. power outage fixed

A power line came down on the Ohio Turnpike in Beaver Township, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Power has been restored to over 6,000 customers in Mahoning County Monday morning..

David Turner with Ohio Edison said 6,850 customers lost power or had reduced power in Poland, Boardman, Struthers and Campbell because of a cable failure.

The first calls to Ohio Edison about the power outage came in about 5 a.m. Monday.

Residents who find themselves without power can call 888-LIGHTSS to register their outage with First Energy.
