Authorities arrest Johnson in Austintown murder

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Roneishia Johnson Monday morning after a grand jury indicted her last week in connection with the stabbing murder of Gina Burger.

Authorities have charged Johnson with obstructing justice. Prosecutors say she failed to tell authorities about the murder, which happened in her apartment, then helped get rid of the victim’s body.

Ricki Williams is facing an aggravated murder charge, among other counts, in connection with Burger’s death.

Workers at a landfill in Pine Township, Pa. discovered Burger’s body Wednesday, June 25. Various clues led police back to Williams, whom they arrested the evening of July 1.
