Two OVI checkpoints set for Trumbull County

HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with Howland and Weathersfield police, will hold two OVI checkpoints Saturday night.

One is on North Road in Howland. The other is along state Route 46 in Weathersfield.

The checkpoints are funded by federal grants.

At the same time, police will also hold saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.
