OVI checkpoint tonight in Boardman

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — The Mahoning County OVI Task Force and the Ohio State Highway Patrol are holding an OVI checkpoint on Sunday night.

The checkpoint will be at the intersection of Market Street and Overhill from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m.

At the same time, police will also hold saturation patrols throughout the area to combat impaired driving.

The checkpoint is paid for with federal grants.
