Man found with knife taped to arm, charged with domestic violence

LAKE MILTON, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County Sheriff’s department arrested a man in Lake Milton Sunday night after police found him with a knife taped to his arm and his girlfriend said he threatened her.

Police arrested Brian Lewis, 34, Sunday night, charging him with domestic violence and endangering children.

Lewis’ girlfriend said Lewis had been drinking alcohol all day and that while she was driving, he had tried to grab the car’s steering wheel and run the vehicle off the road, according to a police report.

Lewis later came to the house where his girlfriend was staying and taped a large butcher knife to his arm, according to his girlfriend’s testimony in the police report.

Lewis’ girlfriend ran from the house with their child and called 911. Police arrived at 17674 Lakewood Ave. and arrested Lewis.

Lewis admitted to drinking during the day, according to the report.

A message left for Lewis on his phone number, listed on the police report, went un-returned.
