ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. (WKBN) – Police have made an arrest in connection to a fatal shooting in Ellwood City.

Jeffrey Sack Jr., 22, was arrested and charged in the shooting death of Thomas Paris, 43, and the wounding of Rashund Smith and Jessica Lynn Jackson during a shooting Sunday night. All three victims are from New Castle.

Sack is currently in the Lawrence County Jail.

According to a police report, the Pennsylvania State Police and Ellwood City Police responded to the shooting at the Walnut Ridge Apartments on Loop Street in Ellwood City. Authorities found Smith and Jackson at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries and transported both to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

An investigation led police to believe that Sack hit Smith with his vehicle while leaving the scene.

Police found Paris dead in a private vehicle which was taking him away from the scene.
