$300,000 bond for Smith Twp. man charged with rape

Guildoo has denied the accusations, and remains in the Mahoning County Jail.

SMITH TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – A Smith Township man accused of rape appeared in court Thursday in Sebring.

Police arrested 61-year-old Jeff Guildoo Tuesday after relatives told investigators he inappropriately touched and raped a female relative over a seven-year period, according to a police report.

Guildoo was given a $300,000 bond today. If he pays his bond, he will be under house arrest until the case wraps up.

Guildoo has denied the accusations and is due back in court later this month.

Mahoning County Assistant Prosecutor Jack Ausnehmer approved a first-degree felony charge of rape against Guildoo, according to the report.
