HUNTINGDON, Pa. (AP) – Authorities say a toddler drowned in a central Pennsylvania lake after falling off a boat.
According to WJAC-TV, emergency crews were called to Raystown Lake in Huntingdon on Wednesday morning.
State police say 1-year-old Jamari Benjamin of Ephrata had fallen into the water. They say another boat operator helped the boy’s parents get him to medical personnel.
The child was taken to a local hospital but did not survive.
Police have ruled the death accidental.
