Teen indicted in robbery spree

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown teen was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury after a robbery spree he allegedly went on when he was just 16 years old.

According to the indictment, Manny Zarlengo, 17, of Youngstown was charged with 11 counts of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification for robberies at various fast food and retail establishments between October 4, 2013 and October 18, 2013.

The indictment names Subway, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Family Dollar and Dollar General stores, but does not list their locations.

Zarlengo was originally charged in juvenile court June 26 where a $1 million bond was set. The grand jury indictment was filed Thursday.
