Journey of Hope Cycling team makes stop in valley

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) — The Fairhaven school hosted a group of travelers Saturday.

The Journey of Hope Cycling Team stopped by the Niles location as part of their annual cross-country bicycle ride.

The team of 35 riders left San Francisco on June 1 and plan to arrive in Washington DC by August 2.

The cyclists, who are members of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, have been stopping along the way to raise awareness of people with disabilities.
