Police investigate Slippery Rock robbery

SLIPPERY ROCK TWP., Pa. (WKBN) — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Slippery Rock store late Friday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police in New Castle, a man entered the Tic Toc Food Mart, 4112 Ellwood Road, just after 11 p.m., pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cashiers.

It’s not known how much money was taken.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, 30 to 40 years old, about 5-foot, 6-inches tall and “stocky.”
