Hazmat crews respond to accident in Canfield

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — Hazmat crews were called to the Glenview Road area in Canfield on Sunday morning after a car ended up in a creek.

According to responders, the driver of a silver sedan was taken to the hospital after the car apparently missed the curve near St. Michael’s Church and rolled into Sawmill Creek.

In addition to the ambulance, fire and police, Hazmat was called to clean up any fluid that may have leaked from the car into the waterway.

It was not immediately clear whether charges will be filed.
