Yo. humane agents: Kittens reportedly thrown from moving vehicle

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Humane agents are investigating a report that someone was throwing kittens out of a moving car.

Youngstown Police alerted Animal Charity Humane Society after they received a call that kittens were being tossed out of a tan vehicle.

One deceased kitten was recovered near the corner of Albert and Youngstown-Hubbard Road.

Tests will be done on the animal to figure out what killed it.

“We don’t know the exact circumstances of the state of the cars when they were tossed out of the window. That’ll be the purpose of the necropsy and then we’ll go from there and if we an find out who the individual is possibly pursue charges,” said Jason Cooke, president of the Animal Charity Humane Society.
