Police chase reaches 110 mph, ends in Yo. standoff

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A burglary in Trumbull County ended with a standoff in Youngstown and eventually an arrest Monday in Youngstown, according to police.

Vienna police said Glen Robert Fulton broke into a house on Wilson Sharpsville Road Monday and took a jewelry box and some change.

When he was leaving, he was spotted by a neighbor, who called police.

Police then pursued Fulton, starting in Fowler Township, with vehicles reaching speeds of 110 miles per hour, according to Vienna police.

Police arrested Fulton at 3025 Kiawatha Road Monday afternoon after he refused to come out.

He was arraigned in Girard Municipal Court on Tuesday. Bond was set at $50,000.
