BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – If it seems like it’s been a long time for the construction on U.S. Route 224 in Boardman, it has been.
Tuesday marked the one-year anniversary of the Ohio Department of Transportation beginning a $5.4 million project to replace the bridge over Interstate 680.
ODOT has said the project is on schedule and the orange barrels will be gone by the end of October.
The next major project will be replacing the Western Reserve road bridge over I-680. That project will bring a full shutdown of the road, starting next spring.
