Former Avalon Inn sold again

HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – The Magnuson Hotel chain is selling the Magnuson Grand Hotel in Howland.

The building on E. Market Street is being sold to Avalon Holdings Incorporated.

Two years ago the Magnuson hotel chain came to Howland and took over what was formerly the Avalon Inn.

Magnuson represents 2,000 hotels in North America and the United Kingdom.

Warren-based Avalon Holdings operates Waste Management Services and owns the Avalon Golf and Country Club next to the hotel.
