YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown man and woman were indicted Thursday after police said they kidnapped a woman and raped her.
Edna Hector and 29-year-old Carlton Dyer were indicted on rape, kidnapping and drug possession charges after a woman accused the two of sexually assaulting her.
Police were called to Pennsylvania Avenue early Wednesday morning where a woman there told police that Edna Hector offered to give her a ride home but lured her to a home on the north side.
The woman said that once inside the house, Dyer suggested giving her some alcohol, which she refused, then raped her while Hector allegedly held her down.
Police searched the apartment where the victim claimed the rape happened, finding a ripped bra and two bags of what they believed to be crack cocaine, according to a police report.
Hector and Dyer were indicted on charges including rape, kidnapping and drug possession.
