Smith Twp. man indicted on rape charges

Guildoo has denied the accusations, and remains in the Mahoning County Jail.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Smith Township man accused of rape was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury Thursday.

Jeff Guildoo, 61, was charged with four counts of rape and two counts of sexual imposition for allegedly raping and inappropriately touching a female relative over a seven-year period.

Guildoo was originally arraigned on the charges July 24 where bond was set at $300,000.

If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
