Police investigating Yo. shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown Police are investigating reports of a shooting Friday afternoon at the corner of Wick Ave. and Saranac Ave. on Youngstown’s northeast side.

According to a YPD officer, one person was shot in the leg during the incident. Police had identified a suspect but let that suspect go after a gunshot residue test proved inconclusive.
