Police looking for woman suspected of spending Butler Twp. victim’s money

BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) – Pennsylvania and Butler Township police are investigating the theft of a payroll check and check book from a vehicle in Butler Township on July 11.

Police believe a female (above) and male attempted to cash the victim’s payroll check at Citizen’s Bank in Grove City.

The female later wrote two checks, according to police, at two other stores in Grove City, then two more in Warren.

Pennsylvania State Police are also investigating the same suspects for the theft of a 2007 White Toyota Tacoma Truck from the parking lot of Commodore Homes on SR 66 Paint Township, Clarion.

Police believe the theft occurred on July 15 between 6:15 and 7:10 in the morning. Personal items of the victim were in the vehicle and used by the above pictured actors.

The above suspects used or attempted to use the victim’s credit card and personal checks in stores in Clarion, Clintonville, Grove City outlets, Youngstown Ohio, and Niles Ohio, according to police.

The suspects have noticeable tattoos on their arms and the female has a garter style tattoo on her left thigh.

The State Police are requesting assistance in identifying the above two suspects.  Anyone with knowledge of their identity or the crime listed is asked to contact Trooper Greg Bogan at 724-662-6162.
