Hubbard man indicted on child porn charges

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Trumbull County grand jury indicted Eric Filicky, 26, of Scott St., Hubbard, on 15 counts of felony pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

Hubbard police arrested Filicky, 26, July 21 after the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against him for pandering sexually oriented material.

Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office Attorney Gabe Wildman told WKBN at the time of the arrest that he authorized charges for 10 counts of second-degree felony charges against Filicky for pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

Wildman said the Trumbull County Child Pornography Task Force and Hubbard Police aided in the investigation.

Hubbard Police Sgt. David Oaks told WKBN that Filicky voluntarily agreed to come with authorities to Girard Municipal Court for questioning after police arrived at a house where he was staying in Hubbard on July 21.

Oaks said that while Filicky was at court, charges against him were formally filed and he was placed under arrest.
