VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) – The Western Reserve Port Authority will not be dissolved as originally discussed in May.

Both Mahoning and Trumbull County commissioners said they have worked out their differences with the remaining board members after meeting on Tuesday. Commissioners and port authority board members said their number one priority is to hire an executive director.

“I think we had a great meeting yesterday. We had a lot of dialogue. I also think there is a lot of good things happening out there,” Trumbull County Commissioner Dan Polivka said.

Trumbull County is looking to appoint two members to the board and Mahoning is looking to appoint one board member.
