Deaths of 2 in Pa. probed as murder-suicide

HARMONY, Pa. (AP) – Authorities say they are investigating the deaths of a man and woman found shot in a western Pennsylvania home as a possible murder-suicide.

State police in Butler County said officers were called to a home in Jackson Township at about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday and found the two dead.

Capt. Steve Ignatz said a woman had apparently been shot by a man, and the man was also then shot. Police have not identified the two.

Sgt. Patrick Sarnese said investigators do not believe there is any threat to the community.
