AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A single-car crash on Mahoning Avenue near the state Route 11 exit is under investigation.
According to police, the driver of a silver Chevrolet Cavalier crossed two lanes of the roadway, went through a parking lot, hit a curb and flipped on its side. It then got wedged between a concrete barrier and a telephone pole.
The driver and passenger had to be cut out of the car, but were not seriously hurt.
It was not immediately known what caused the crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is assisting Austintown police with the investigation.
