New Castle PD: Man took purse at church festival

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – The New Castle City Police Department is attempting to identify a man who they say stole a purse at a festival at a church Tuesday, according to a post on their Facebook page Friday.

Police said the male is black and was wearing black shorts and a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. The theft happened at St. Vitus Parish on S. Mercer St. in New Castle, according to the post.
