Pedestrian struck by train in Salineville

SALINEVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – A pedestrian was struck by a train in Salineville Friday evening.

It happened about 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Madison Street and Hunter Alley. The victim was taken by helicopter to an area hospital.

As of 7:45 p.m., police said the victim was still alive, but they had no further information.
