Kasich to speak at Tressel installation

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Ohio Gov. John Kasich will attend at speak at the ceremony installing Jim Tressel as the ninth president of Youngstown State University at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, in the Beeghly Center on YSU’s campus, according to a news release from the university.

The governor is among several state government and higher education leaders expected to attend the ceremony.

The event is open to the public. Free parking will be available on campus. A reception will immediately follow.
