Mom, grandma accused of starving Greenville boy moved to protective custody

MERCER, Pa. (WKBN) – Authorities have moved the mother and grandmother of a Greenville, Pa. boy found starving in early June to protective custody after other inmates threatened their lives, according to a Mercer County Jail worker.

Authorities moved Mary C. Rader 28 and Deana Beighly, 48, to protective custody over the weekend. The location for protective custody is still within the Mercer County Jail.

The two women are being held after not posting their bond, which was set at $100,000 each.

The women will be held there until their trial begins.

Authorities also charged Dennis Beighley, 59, in the case. All three are charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
