Man missing in Wellsville

WELLSVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) — The search for a missing man continues in Wellsville.

Police said Zane Carter, 24, was last seen on Thursday night in the village. On Tuesday, his friends formed a search party to look for him. They are worried for her his safety, and said it is not like him to disappear.

“It is so unlike Zane. Everybody that knows him knows it is not like him. Somebody would have seen him somewhere, walking. He would have been posted on Facebook, called somebody, text somebody, especially his parents,” friend Hope Golden said.

On Tuesday, police charged Mindy Hissom, 38, with obstruction of justice for providing false information in the case.

Anyone who has seen Carter or who has any information that might help in the investigation can call Wellsville police at 330-532-1522.
