Salem man sentenced in stabbing death

Trial delayed for Robert Harmony

SALEM, Ohio (WKBN) – Robert Harmony, 45, of Salem was sentenced to 15 years to life for the November 2013 stabbing death of Gerrod Lanzendorfer.

Harmony stabbed Lanzendorfer outside of a Salem bar. He then called 911 and walked to the Salem Police Department where he turned himself in.

Harmony is a disabled veteran. Lanzendorfer had served in the Marine Corps and was working security at the bar the night of the murder.

Harmony told the judge he would take back his actions if he could.
