Dealership focuses on vintage cars

CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – A used car dealership with a new twist has set up shop in Trumbull County.

Cool rides held its grand opening Saturday on Route 5 in Cortland. Unlike other dealerships, this one only sells vintage and classic cars from the 1940s through the 70s.

Co-founder George Rogers said a big part of the Mahoning Valley’s history is tied to the automotive industry, so he sees their store as a natural fit.

“We are in the auto Mecca with General Motors being here, Lordstown, Packard starting here in Warren, Ohio… a lot of car enthusiasts,” Rogers said.

Rogers co-founded the dealership with his long-time neighbor and fellow classic car enthusiast Mike Jones.
