Two injured in Warren crash

WARREN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Two people were taken to the hospital after an accident Saturday afternoon in Warren.

A pickup truck rolled over taking a curve near the corner of North Park Avenue and North River road around 4:30 p.m. The truck ended up on its roof.

“Two of the occupants were ejected out of the vehicle. They were coming around the curve at a high rate of speed, and they were not wearing their safety belts,” said Sgt. Patrick Abel, Ohio State Highway Patrol.

One of the victims was taken to Saint Joseph Health Center and the other was transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

The victims’ names have not been released.

Charges are pending in the case.
