YSU holds summer commencement

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown State University said good-bye to some of its students Saturday. The summer 2014 commencement ceremony was held at Beeghly Center.

Nearly 400 students received their diplomas and YSU president Jim Tressel gave his first graduation address.

“As the new president of Youngstown State University, I am so excited to be here today with all of you and welcome you to the summer commencement,” Tressel said.

Classes for the fall semester begin on Wednesday.
