YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Corona has recalled some of its bottled beer because the bottles may contain small particles of glass.
The voluntary recall covers 12-ounce, clear glass bottles of Corona Extra in some six packs, 12 packs and 18 packs. Corona is offering refunds and reimbursements for the affected packages.
Another consumer recall involves some nut butters because of a possible salmonella contamination. There are reports of four people getting sick.
Hain Celestial group says the products were sold under the brand names Arrowhead Mills peanut butters and Mara-Natha almond butters and peanut butters. There are also some lots of Private Label almond butter recalled from Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Kroger and Safeway.

In other recall related news, a new federal program can help consumers determine if their vehicle has been recalled but not repaired. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration unveiled the new service Wednesday online.
All consumers need is their car’s vehicle identification number to do a search.The results will show if there’s an open recall and if it has been addressed on their car.
