Man indicted in Struthers stabbing death

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) –  The suspect accused in the stabbing death of a disabled man from Struthers has been indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury.

Roy Cleary, 40, is charged with aggravated murder, murder, tampering with evidence and aggravated robbery in the July 15 stabbing death of 56-year-old Mark Westfall.

Police say Cleary killed Westfall inside his Struthers Manor apartment. Police believe Westfall caught the suspect stealing his prescription medicines, which led to a heated argument. An autopsy showed Cleary stabbed the victim more than 30 times.

Cleary is being held on $500,000 bond.
