YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Mahoning County jury found Janero Mitchell, 29, guilty of aggravated murder in the shooting death of Mark Haskins.

The verdict came in just before noon Friday.

Mitchell was also found guilty of a weapons violation in the 2012 shooting. He was on parole at the time after being convicted in the 2005 shooting death of Anthony McBride. Charges in that case were reduced after witnesses failed to testify.

Sentencing is set for Monday, Aug. 25 at 10 a.m

Earlier this week, jurors were taken to the scene of the crime at the corner of Bissel and Kennsington avenues.
