BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County Engineer’s Department has finished work on a traffic circle in Boardman as of Monday and is set to unveil the opening at a ceremony Wednesday.
The circle, which has been built and the intersection of Mathews and Sheridan Roads in Boardman, is known as a roundabout. The department did the work with $700,000 of money from the federal government.
The project has been under way since June. A release from the engineer’s department stated that the roundabout has been installed to improve safety at the intersection.
