Flames light up sky on south side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Flames lit up the night sky in Youngstown early Tuesday morning from a fire on the south side.

Crews were called about 1 a.m. to the 100 block of Cohasset Drive, near Hillman Street. When they arrived, the house was already engulfed in flames.

No one lives in the house, and crews conducted a controlled burn of the structure.

No one was hurt and a cause has not been determined.
