Crews fight fire at Cortland business

CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Firefighters worked Friday morning to stamp out a fire Trumbull County.

Crews were called about 5 a.m. to Control Transformer on Warren Meadville Road in Cortland, near Mosquito Lake.

When crews arrived, they thought flames were coming from the roof of the building but discovered it was smoke coming from the plant’s three ovens.

The fire was quickly controlled. No injuries were reported.
