Newton Falls hosts annual Fill A Cruiser

NEWTON FALLS, Ohio (WKBN) — The community came together on Saturday in Newton Falls to help kids get their school year off to a good start.

The annual Fill a Cruiser event was held at Family Dollar. It gave folks a chance to give back to less fortunate kids in the area.

“With every year the expense gets greater and the need gets greater. So we as a police departement want to foster the relationship between the community and the police department,” said Sheri Bailey of the Newton Falls Police Department.

Also this year, the Newton Falls cheerleaders will be present during the afternoon showing their support as well.

Bailey said that any questions can be answered by calling 330-990-5344.
