Crime murder

CINCINNATI (AP) – Police have a murder arrest warrant out for a 27-year-old man after the death of a 2-year-old boy was ruled a homicide.

Court documents show that the Cincinnati Police homicide unit says Amond Rainey caused the boy’s death by use of blunt force. Little Josiya Eves was taken to a hospital emergency room on Monday after reportedly falling in Rainey’s home. He died Wednesday from his injuries.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s office ruled his death a homicide on Friday after an autopsy.

Police were urging the public’s help in locating Rainey.
