Congressman Johnson talks Syria and ISIS

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Congressman Bill Johnson made a stop at the Canfield Fair on Sunday. While speaking on many topics with constituents, he answered questions about the situation in Syria.

Johnson said that he is concerned that the White House doesn’t have a strategy in place to deal with Syria and ISIS. Johnson said he wants to see the situation handled by working with allies around the globe.

“We can handle this with our allies, but we need our military commanders to tell us how to do that and the President to listen to them,” Johnson said.

Johnson said he and other members of congress want to see a plan from the President soon.
