YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The process of jury selection has begun for a Mahoning County capital murder case.
Robert Brooks is the second defendant to go on trial, charged in the robbery and murder of Youngstown realtor Vivian Martin on the city’s east side back in September 2010.
In July, Grant Cooper plead guilty and is now expected to testify in this case.
We’re told a jury should be seated by the middle of next week. Brooks could face the death penalty if he is convicted.
