The WKBN 27 Caring for Our Community campaign spent Saturday morning participating in the American Heart Association Heart Walk. WKBN and volunteers from sponsor Dallas Hartman produced free Kids Identi-kits for nearly 50 children in attendance.
The Caring team produced Identi-kit cards and handed out information booklets to families to help keep their children safe. Along with the Identi-kits, Dallas Hartman distributed water to some of the 2,000 participants who spent their morning walking for the Heart Association.
The WKBN 27 Caring for Our Community campaign is committed to making a difference throughout our Valley and the Kids Identi-kit program is one of the main elements of helping our community. The Caring team includes Huntington Bank, Dunkin’ Donuts, Window World and Dallas Hartman.
